We have an old hand in the Senate running for President, who agrees 90% of the time with the President going out of office, and he would have you believe he was a reformer. I'm referring to John McCain. He is nuttier than a fruitcake. Once when asked how many homes he owned, he said he did not rightly know. The number turned out to be seven homes. Then at another time, someone asked,"What income bracket comprises the Middle class?" He said 3 to 5 million dollars would put someone in the Middle class bracket. Really?
McCain chose an untried governor from Alaska to be his running mate. Palin looks good, but will not withstand the arrows of tough questions. And, if McCain is elected, what if he dies from cancer, it could happen, would she be good enough to take the reins of power? I doubt it.
Then, there are fears by some, myself included, who worry that we might not have an election.
If war would break out, Bush could use this as an excuse to try to stay in office. Where would war break out? Georgia is one place. Russian troops already occupy a portion of this country, a former satellite country. Chaney is out trying to get Oil deals. We live in dire times.
